Every room of this sample one-bedroom apartment drawn to scale from its floor plan, with each piece of furniture where it goes, its size and how far it sits from the walls. It is the same layout as the design pack and the 3D walkthrough, and it is the sheet a delivery crew or a handyman would work from.

How to read these plans

North is up. All measurements are in centimetres, from the finished wall face.
Wall lengths are taken from this sample's floor plan, an original HomePrint design layout. Check them on site before ordering.
The numbers on the plan match the tables under it. "Where it goes" gives the gap from each piece to the nearest walls.
The dimension lines outside each room run wall by wall, with the doors and windows; the outer line is the full wall.

The sideboard serves as the media unit: a TV can stand on it or hang on the wall above, in place of the painting.
The kitchen is fitted and stays as it is. The peninsula is 20 cm shorter at its west end, so the way past the fridge is 70 cm wide.
The door to the bedroom is in the bedroom wall, starting 15 cm from the bedroom's south wall; it opens into the bedroom.

The front door is hinged on its east side and opens into the entrance; the console and the rug both sit clear of its swing.

The dimension line on the wardrobe wall marks the built-in wardrobe: 245 cm long, starting 55 cm from the south wall.
The corridor door is in the south wall, 275 cm from the bed wall and 90 cm wide; it opens into the bedroom, hinged on its east side.
The door from the living room opens into the bedroom, hinged at its south side; its leaf clears the south nightstand by about 5 cm.
